ADAPP Counselor
Maria Doroni has been employed with the Archdiocese since 2011. The Archdiocese of New York Drug Abuse Prevention Program (ADAPP) provides comprehensive substance abuse prevention services for schools within the Archdiocese of New York. ADAPP assists schools and families with issues such as warning signs of substance use, psychological/emotional trouble, peer pressure, recognizing anxiety and depression among children and teens.
Maria has worked with all grade levels at Preston. She provides prevention education, prevention counseling, crisis intervention as well as faculty and parent education.
