Shadow Days
Shadow Days at Preston High School
Prospective 8th grade students are invited to spend a day alongside a first‑year student ambassador for a fully immersive “day in the life” experience.
This visit offers a genuine preview of what it’s like to be a Preston Panther — attending classes, meeting teachers, and engaging with our vibrant community.
Schedule: Shadow Days are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, October through December.

Private Tours
Private Tours at Preston High School
We understand that busy schedules don’t always align with our Shadow Days or Open House events. That’s why Preston High School offers private tours by appointment for prospective students and their families who would like a more personalized visit.
During a private tour, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Explore our campus at your own pace, including classrooms, labs, athletic facilities, and student spaces.
- Meet with admissions staff to ask questions about the application process, scholarships, and financial aid.
- Learn about our programs in academics, faith, athletics, and extracurricular activities.
- Gain insight into student life through stories and examples of how Preston Panthers grow and thrive.
Private tours are designed to give families a comprehensive and flexible experience, ensuring you leave with a clear sense of what makes Preston unique. Whether you’re coming from the Bronx, Westchester, or Manhattan, we’ll work with you to find a time that fits your schedule.
