About Preston High School
Founded in 1947 by the Sisters of the Divine Compassion, Preston High School is located in the Throggs Neck neighborhood of the Bronx. As an all‑girls private Catholic college preparatory school, Preston is rooted in the virtues of dignity, honor, respect, and compassion. For nearly eight decades, we have empowered young women to discover their potential and prepare to lead with confidence, integrity, and faith.
