Karen Amrhein
Teachers Aide
Ms. Amrhein received her BA degree in education from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. After teaching students in Maryland for several years, Ms. Amrhein earned her MA degree in school counseling at George Mason University. She then worked as a school counselor in Arlington, Virginia. Following her family’s move to Mamaroneck, NY, Ms. Amrhein taught preschool classes and worked as a case manager for medically fragile children. Later, she taught English as a second language to students in China through VIPKID. Ms. Amrhein started substitute teaching at Preston in 2022. She is delighted to be part of this wonderful school community.
