After graduating from C.M. Russell High School in Great Falls, Montana, Stephen Abel studied theater at the University of Montana in Missoula. He was a teacher in the public school system in Israel for 11 years, during which time he did a Masters in Applied Linguistics through the University of London.
At Preston, he teaches English to freshmen and seniors.
