Compassion Matters... Pass It On! 9-25-19
Compassion has hit the ground running in Preston's 2019-2020 school year. Though there are many school wide compassionate events that take place inside and outside the walls of Preston High School, there are still many things that the students of Preston do individually as well. From the beginning of the year, senior Alexia Suka has been helping freshman Laura Malshyti. Laura has been on crutches since early September, and Alexia has been helping her get to and from classes, through Preston's busy halls, and even in the cafeteria line holding a tray. Though this act of compassion was not required or expected, Alexia Suka proceeded with her admirable charity, and we are happy to give her the recognition she deserves. Compassion isn't assigned, but created by one personally. Pay it forward!
