Scholarship & Financial Aid Information

  • Academic scholarships are awarded to incoming freshman students who demonstrate outstanding achievement on both their TACHS exam and their elementary school/middle school academic record.
  • A limited number of one-year grants, called the Mother Mary Veronica Compassion through Service Award, are offered to incoming freshmen whose academic records may not qualify them for merit scholarships but whose involvement in activities that provide service to their families, their schools and their communities shows evidence of a deep commitment to the values, especially compassion, that the Preston High School community seeks to promote in its students. A student must be nominated by her principal for this grant award.
  • Students are notified of their scholarships or grant awards in their letters of acceptance.
  • Non-scholarship, need-based financial aid for incoming freshmen is limited. Families with significant financial need may apply for tuition assistance from the Student-Sponsor Partnership (SSP) program. For more information, please contact Mrs. Fragale in the Admissions Office.
