- Academic scholarships are awarded to incoming freshman students who demonstrate outstanding achievement on both their TACHS exam and their elementary school/middle school academic record. Application is required for Academic Scholarship.
- A limited number of one-year grants, called the Mother Mary Veronica Compassion through Service Award, are offered to incoming freshmen whose academic records may not qualify them for merit scholarships but whose involvement in activities that provide service to their families, their schools and their communities shows evidence of a deep commitment to the values, especially compassion, that the Preston High School community seeks to promote in its students. Upon acceptance a student must submit an application as well as a recommendation letter from her school principal.
- Students are notified of their scholarships or grant awards in their letters of acceptance.
- Non-scholarship, need-based financial aid for incoming freshmen is limited. Families with significant financial need may apply for tuition assistance from the Student-Sponsor Partnership (SSP) program. For more information, please contact Ms. Guzman in the Admissions Office at extension 131.
